Hi there! 👋

We’ve got another product update for you! Here’s Mentorloop CEO and Co-Founder Lucy Lloyd to take you through what’s new and what’s coming soon.

The Mentorloop App 📱

The Mentorloop App is now live!

Mentoring is something that should slip seamlessly into your day-to-day so we’ve now made that easier than ever for everyone.

Users can find mentoring matches, access and manage mentoring relationships, set goals, and move through mentoring milestones – all on their smartphones. It allows mentors and mentees to stay connected, engaged, and motivated while giving program coordinators better insights and metrics on program health.

It’s now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play!

New Languages 🌎

As Mentorloop grows, we welcome users and launch programs from all over the world.

So aside from 🇬🇧🇺🇸 English and 🇨🇳 Mandarin, we now have 🇪🇸 Spanish and 🇫🇷 French!

Users can switch their preferred language via the login screen or in the account settings.

We will be adding more languages in future so please feel free to use the feedback tool to suggest which languages we should be working on adding next.

Multi Program Coordinators 👥

In our last update, we said that the ability to add multiple program coordinators was being built. We’re now happy to announce that it has launched!

We understand that as programs grow, they benefit from having more than one person managing them. We’ve always had multiple admins but kept the main program coordinator role to one. However, seeing how much our programs have grown and from listening to feedback from our customers, we recognize that it’s not always a one-person job.

So program coordinators can now manage their programs alongside their teams with much more ease!

Coming Soon: Meeting Notes 📝

This highly requested feature is now actively being built.

Users have been asking for a single place to keep track of their mentoring conversations, compare notes, and share to-do’s. This is why we’re building a feature within the Loop where users can compose, share, and review rich mentoring notes.

These notes will be private – kept between mentoring partners – and can be used to build a journal of the relationship and their progress.

We expect to launch Meeting Notes by the end of March.

Coming Soon: Improved Group Loops ♾️

The traditional mentor-mentee relationship is evergreen but that doesn’t mean other types of mentoring relationships (e.g. one mentor to several mentees, peer mentoring circles, groups based on a shared interest or goal) are less valuable.

With the new Group Loop experience, it’s easier than ever to enable and manage these relationships. Upon creating a Group Loop, Program Coordinators can now set access controls on whether the group is public or private. We’re also making these public Group Loops more discoverable for users. This means mentors and mentees in a program will now be able to browse and join Group Loops that fit their interests and goals.

New and improved Group Loops will be launching in April.

So that’s it for this round of updates! We’ll be back with another update in a couple of months! 👋
