Why We Use AI
We use AI to remove friction from the mentoring process — for mentees, mentors, and program coordinators. That means:
- Easier mentoring meeting prep: Generating meeting agendas or summarising notes so sessions are focused and productive.
- Keeping momentum going: Sending well-timed nudges and reminders when they’re actually needed.
- Helping people find the right fit: Assisting with match recommendations while avoiding bias.
- Easier admin for program coordinators: Surfacing insights on engagement and program health without hours of manual analysis.
In short: AI lets mentors spend more time mentoring, mentees spend more time learning, and coordinators spend more time supporting people rather than managing spreadsheets.

We’ve designed AI in Mentorloop to appear only where it can genuinely make things easier.
Some examples:

How We Protect Your Data
We know trust is the foundation of any good mentoring relationship. and that includes trusting us with your information.
Here’s how we keep your data safe when using AI:
- We only share the info needed for the task at hand (e.g., meeting notes to create an agenda).
- We never include names, emails, or other personal identifiers in AI prompts.
- Data sent to AI is not stored outside Mentorloop.
- Your data is never used to train AI models.
- We have strong legal safeguards in place, including compliance with leading regulators, to make sure your data is encrypted, stored only briefly, and always under your control.
