Modern mentoring is more than guiding someone's journey - it's about amplifying voices, creating opportunities and providing the tools to thrive. I believe mentoring combines sponsorship, coaching and advocacy, ensuring mentees are supported holistically as they grow and succeed.
A standout mentoring moment involved guiding a promising professional who felt invisible in her workplace. Together, we are clarified goals, refined her narrative and built confidence.

Beyond coaching, I actively advocated for her within my network and connected her with leaders who valued her expertise. This combination of strategic guidance and direct sponsorship led to her securing a role where she continues to grow and shine.
Mentorship is about more than advice - it’s about action. Coaching helps mentees unlock their potential, while sponsorship ensures they have access to opportunities to realise it. Modern mentoring requires showing up in multiple ways: as a listener, a champion and sometimes, as a disruptor of barriers standing in their way.
I approach mentoring with a collaborative mindset, creating a space for open dialogue and co-creation.
