Read all about it and hear more from Emma herself below.

What do you think the ‘secret’ is to a good mentoring relationship?!

Trust, managing expectations, honesty, accountability and having a process each month.

What is one way that mentoring has changed your professional or personal life – or for your mentoring match!

Mentoring has changed my life and positively impacted my confidence as a coach. I enjoy the accountability and the transfer of skills on and off the court.

What tips or advice would you like to share with those new to mentoring?

What makes a great coach? Someone who listens. What makes a great mentor? Someone who asks great questions. I love the GROW Model approach and use this with all of my mentees. What’s your GOAL? What’s your REALITY? What are the OPTIONS? And finally, how will you move (WAY FORWARD) forward between now and our next session? It’s a great process as it is efficient and effective. đŸ™‚
